"Eight of us went to Bubba's for lunch & to watch the LLWS Championship Game. Nice, clean, informal atmosphere. They quickly pulled a couple of tables together for us. Everybody ordered something different, including a couple of salads and Frickles. Food arrived quickly. I got the three choices combo - Pulled Pork; Pulled Chicken; Hot Link; Corn Bread; Cole Slaw; Sweet Sauce and Hot Sauce. Everybody dug into their meal... and conversation subsided for a while. I loved every thing I ordered. Everybody loved their food and plate passing started to allow others a chance to taste everything. Everything I tasted was excellent! I still ended up taking some of my meal home in a box, just couldn't finish it all. Bubba's = great bbq; good beverage selection; good value; comfortable environment (in-door dining or out-door dining). Bubba's does take-out, and I found out that they will deliver as far as the UCSD campus. :-) If you like bbq I highly recommend you give Bubba's a try."

"Good food, good service, reasonable price. Staff at register was friendly and full of information. I was glad we did not navigate to any other place in town. A plus was you do not have to get up to get your food from the counter. It was delivered to us with a smile. Leave a tip in the bucket, it is much deserved by the staff."
